European Museum Forum (EMF) arbetar för ökad kvalitet för besökare på Europas museum och att stärka museers roll i samhället, med stöd av Council of Europe. Varje år delas European Museum of the Year Award ut för att uppmärksamma nyöppnade eller ombyggda museum. Chris Torch, konstnärlig ledare på Intercult, valdes in till EMFs board of trustees i samband med 2010 European Museum of the Year Award – en konferens och prisutdelning i Tampere i Finland i slutet av maj. / European Museum Forum work for a higher quality for visitors at European museums and to strengthen the role of museums in society, with kind endorsement from the Council of Europe. Each year the European Museum of the Year Award is given to a newly opened or refurbished museum. Chris Torch, artistic director at Intercult joined the board of trustees in connection with the 2010 European Museum of the Year Award – a conference and award ceremony in Tampere, Finland.
