Idag inleds Black Sea Academy i Istanbul. European Cultural FoundationOpen Society Institute och Istanbul Bilgi University, inom ramen för STEP Beyond mobility program, arrangerar denna 6 dagar långa plattform för komeptensutveckling för kulturentreprenörer och projektledare från Armenien, Azerbaijan, Georgien och Turkiet. Chris Torch, Intercult, är på plats som en av instruktörerna. Syftet med plattformen är att utveckla färdigheterna och nätverken bland kulturarbetare i EUs grannländer. Dessa kulturarbetare, 29 personer, har en viktig uppgift att genom det egna arbetet utveckla de lokala strukturerna för kulturproduktion i sina hemländer. / Today the Black Sea Academy begins in Istanbul. The European Cultural Foundation, the Open Society Institute and the Istanbul Bilgi University, in the framework of the STEP Beyond mobility program, have arranged this 6 day platform for capacity building for cultural entrepreneurs and managers from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey. Chris Torch, Intercult, is present as one of the trainers. The aim of the platform is to develop the skills and networks of cultural workers in neighbourhood countries of the EU. These cultural workers, 29 people, have an important task to develop the local structures for culture production through their own work, in their home countries.
