How can EUNIC members contribute in creating contexts where creative minds can meet and develop?
The topic of this year’s Summer Academy (SA) is, how EUNIC member organisations might work together on innovative residency programmes focusing on mobility between countries in and outside of Europe. The will especially look at residencies and how they might contribute to local, regional and international development. As part of the training, we will also be taking a look at residency programmes as a tool of public diplomacy. We will be providing lectures, workshops and a number of study visits.
The EUNIC SA 2014 will take place 11–13 June 2014 in Stockholm and will be arranged by Swedish Institute (SI) in collaboration with Intercult.
The three-day training programme will offer project managers from EUNIC member organisations the chance to learn more, to discuss what opportunities exist today and to develop ideas for joint initiatives. An objective of EUNIC SA 2014 is to lay the foundations for specific collaborative projects in relation to mobility initiatives in the Creative Europe and other funding programmes.
