Project kick-off and arts advocacy training

Tania Banotti – Chief Executive, Theatre Forum, Ireland was the founder of the National Campaign for the Arts (NCFA) in September 2009. The campaign is a broad coalition of arts organisations across different art forms, as well as individual artists. It campaigns about the importance of the arts to Irish life and also about the importance of public funding for the arts at local and national level. www.ncfa.ie

Zandra Thuvesson is a freelance journalist (Media and Communication Studies, Publishing Studies and Political Science) with a past as a seminar producer and experienced moderator.

Evaluation meeting and participation at Next Step EU in Herning Denmark

Dates: 6–8 juni 2012

The international culture conference Next Step EU is held under the Danish EU Presidency. It will debate the decisions to be made in regards to the EU 2014–2020 policies and budget, and the impact of these decisions on the cultural landscape of Europe. Next Step EU is arranged by our project partners Centrum for Kunst & Interkultur (CKI) and DSI Swinging Europe.
The Nordic Advocacy project group meets for an evaluation meeting on the 6th of June and than participates as delegates in the conference. For more info: www.nextstepeu.com

Conclusion and presentation of outcomes at the Trans Europe Halles meeting in Gothenburg, Sweden
