Aberdeen Performing Arts is interested in making contact with playwrights based in Northern Europe/Northern Canada for an event that will take place over the solstice weekend in Aberdeen. The theme is Northern Lights and we plan it to be linked with the International Year of Light. As part of a night of scratch theatre we are looking for ten minute pieces of theatre, either stand alone or an extract from a longer play, that could be performed script in hand on the evening – ideally a max of two/three actors. The work will in some way need to connect to the theme of Northern Lights.
