Project partners from 7 countries gathers in Stockholm to discuss the potential of waterways and waterfronts in our cities. Can we, as inhabitants, influence in any way, the directions in which our cities develop? Can we make a joint effort with decision makers and city planners to create urban spaces, which are “inhabitant friendly” and at the same time take into consideration environmental concerns? These and other questions will be debated within the framework of Culture for Waterfronts meeting, supported by Grundtvig programme (21-22 March).

The topic of the Stockholm meeting is: Impact on citizenship – the role of culture in developing a sustainable European society.
