In his new role as cultural strategist Patrik sees great possibilities for culture to take on a bigger role in society. He believes that in order to make Stockholm a successful centre for culture there is a need for widening the responsibilities, creating possibilities for an increased digital participation, a competence development programme, income generation schemes, and a strategy for dealing with the increasing costs for spaces and venues.

Since 1999 Patrik has gained extensive experience on a management level in order to establish and develop new activities in existing organisations. While being the director of Södra Teatern in Stockholm one of his successes was the development of a diverse repertory with a high level of self-financing and income generation. He has worked in urban regeneration with culture as a driving force and was active in the project development of the venue Gasverket in Stockholm. He was previously a producer and founder of JAM/Riksteatern.
