/ Chris Torch spoke in Istanbul at the symposium “New approaches to cultural governance”, organised as part of Istanbul 2010: European Capital of Culture. The conference was a wrapping up of the cultural policy experiences of the program, which begin already in 2008. SEAS Istanbul was the launch project when it landed in march 2009 in Turkey. Cultural policy experts, ministers of culture and other policymakers from 7 EU countries joined the various panels. A written report will follow.
