Intercults Chris Torch är moderator under Cultur in Motions konferens i Bryssel – en av de största sammankomsterna någonsin rörande EU:s kulturprogram / Chris Torch will serve as moderator during the Culture in Motion event in Bryssel – one of the largest EU cultural gatherings ever

Intercults Chris Torch kommer att vara moderator för två uppdrag under Culture in Motion konferensen European audiences – 2020 and beyond, som anordnas av DGEAC i Bryssel, 15-17 oktober www.cultureinmotion.eu.

Den första dagen har fokus på de europeiska kulturhuvudstädernas program. Han kommer att vägleda tre olika paneler genom centrala teman för de som har arbetat och kommer att arbeta med kulturella kapitalprojekt. Målet är att presentera det nya föreslagna programmet som gör det möjligt för Europeiska kommissionen att utveckla konceptet. Diskussioner med publiken kommer att uppmuntras.

Under de sista två dagarna är siktet inställt på publikens utveckling European Audiences – 2020 and beond. Chris kommer att vara moderator tillsammans med Mary McCarthy, chef för National Scultpure Factor (Irland) och tidigare kulturhuvudstad jurymedlem, när 20 projekt presenteras,  Man kommer utbyta idéer och undersöka möjligheterna till interlokalt tänkande. Avslutningsvis deltar Chris Torch även i den sammanfattande panelen som kommer att reflektera över erfarenheter och lärdomar under konferensen.

Mer än 900 professionella har anmält sig till konferensen. On the first day, focusing on the European Capitals of Culture programme, he will guide the three different panels around central themes for those engaged with Cultural Capital projects, both in the past and in the future. The objective is to present the newly proposed program which will enable the European Commission to develop the concept. Discussion with the audience will be encouraged.

During the last two days of the EU culture series, sights are set on audience development. Chris will share the moderation of 20 project presentations with Mary McCarthy, director of the National Scultpure Factor (Ireland) and formerly Cultural Capital jury member. A practice exchange exploring opportunities for inter-local thinking. He will also participate in the summary panel, reflecting on lessons learned during the conference.
