Curators Anna Smolak (Poland) and Nini Palavandishvili (Georgia) will present their project The Visit and how it has developed during their research in Stockholm. The audience is encouraged to take part in an informal and open discussion on the themes of the project – migration, private space, the rituals of a visit. Two reoccurring reactions to the Visit in Stockholm have been “Stockholm is a very segregated city” and “the migrant, the suburbian situation has been exploited by artistic events”.
The curator duo is the second team at Intercult’s interdisciplinary and processoriented residency BaseCamp Stockholm.
