BMCP – här är kulturinstitutionerna som deltar i projektet / BMCP – these are the cultural institutions that will participate

Syftet med projektet är att höja kapaciteten hos offentligt finansierade Europeiska kulturinstitutioner att engagera och integrera migranter i sina verksamheter. På så vis öka legitimiteten för kulturinstitutionen, mångfalden i det kulturella deltagandet och förståelsen för ett interkulturellt och gemensamt samhälle. Vi riktar oss till offentligt finansierade kulturinstitutioner som t ex bibliotek, museer, scenkonstinstitutioner, kulturhus och konserthus. Projektet innehåller följande steg; utveckling av ett diagnosverktyg (benchmark), djupintervjuer som analyseras, en serie av dialogmöten (Learning Parterships).

AF Kultur och Media / An invitation with an offer for participation was developed by the project team and sent out to targeted cultural institutions.

It includes the following activities:
1) An interview based on a questionnaire specifically developed to suit the benchmark tool.
2) Participation in LP about employment and recruitment issues, a two day seminar with Interfem and Crossing Boarders about recruitment for underrepresented groups. In Skellefteå 18-19 September.
3) Participation in LP with all institutions for exchange of experiences and learning by expertise. In Stockholm 16-17 October.
4) Participation in MR Dagarna in Umeå 13–16 November.
5) Two LP’s with audiences and partners (children and migrant associations) that each CI organises and documents on their own.
6) Participation in public conference in Stockholm in the beginning of December at KulturhusetStadsteatern or Folkoperan.
7) Participation of dissemination and communication of results
8) Participation in the European conference in Barcelona in June 2015
